Privacy

The short version: this site never asks who you are. Since 2 November 2026 it runs Google Analytics 4, which sets analytics cookies only if you allow them. The longer version below says exactly what the analytics tag sends, what the web server records and what your rights are under the Data Protection Act, 2019.

Updated

What this site does not do

It sets no advertising cookies, and no analytics cookie unless you allow one. It runs no advertising scripts. It has no forms that send data, no comments, no newsletter and no accounts, so it never asks for your name, phone number or e-mail address. Fonts and images come from this site's own server. The one outside service a page contacts is Google, to load the analytics tag described below; no social network or other outside service is contacted.

The multiplier calculator works inside your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to the server, are not part of what the analytics tag sends, and are gone when you close the page.

What the server logs

Like almost every web server, the one that delivers these pages writes a line to an access log for each request: the IP address the request came from, the date and time, the address of the page or file requested, the response code and size, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the browser's user-agent string. The log is used to keep the site running and to spot abuse, such as floods of automated requests. It is not combined with other data, not used to build profiles and not sold or shared.

An IP address can be personal data: the Data Protection Act, 2019 defines personal data as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (s.2). No retention period for these logs has been set in this demonstration build; one will be stated here before the site leaves demonstration status.

Google Analytics

Since 2 November 2026 every page loads the Google Analytics 4 tag from googletagmanager.com. It runs in Google's consent mode, with advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation always set to "denied".

A bar at the bottom of every page asks you to choose "Allow analytics cookies" or "Decline", and links to this page.

  • Before you choose, or if you decline, no analytics cookie is stored. The tag still sends Google cookieless page-view signals: the page address, the time, and details of your browser and device.
  • If you allow, first-party cookies whose names begin with _ga are set so that repeat visits can be recognised.

Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key ga-consent. You can change your analytics choice at any time.

Google processes what it receives under its own privacy policy. Google may process it outside Kenya.

Third parties

One: Google receives the analytics data described above. No one else receives data from this site. There are no embedded videos, maps, share buttons or chat widgets. The company that hosts the server will be named here once the publisher's details are published.

Your rights under the Data Protection Act, 2019

Section 26 gives you the right to be told how your personal data is used, to access it, to object to its processing, and to have false or misleading data corrected or deleted. This site holds nothing beyond routine server logs, and the analytics data goes to Google, so there is little to hand over here, but the rights still apply. If you are unhappy with how any organisation has handled your data, s.56 lets you complain to the Data Commissioner orally or in writing, and the complaint must be investigated and concluded within 90 days (s.56(5)).

The same rights apply to the operators you play with, and they hold far more: your ID, phone number, deposits and play history. The Office of the Data Protection Commissioner publishes a searchable register of data handlers at odpc.go.ke/registered-data-handlers/, where you can look up whether an operator is registered. According to the ODPC, s.18 of the Act and the 2021 registration regulations require organisations that process personal data to register.

Changes to this page

2 November 2026: Google Analytics was switched on, as described above. Any other feature that collects data will be described on this page before it goes live.
