Editorial policy

This page explains how a guide on Crash Games Kenya gets from a question to a published page, which sources it may rely on, and what it is never allowed to contain.

Updated

AI tools and this site

Every page on Crash Games Kenya is drafted with AI tools under the site's editorial process, checked by automated scripts against the primary sources it cites, and published only when those checks pass.

In practice a draft is produced with AI assistance from a fixed register of facts and sources, and a script then reads the finished page for the problems a reader would care about. A page that fails any check does not go live. There is no named human reviewer at present; the section on review below says what that means.

Sources that count

Primary documents only:

  • the Gambling Control Act, 2025 (No. 14 of 2025), in the edition the regulator hosts on gra.go.ke;
  • the 2026 Regulations as gazetted on 30 June 2026: Licensing (L.N. 111), Conduct of Gambling Operations (L.N. 112), Foreign-Based Operators (L.N. 113), Advertising (L.N. 114) and Gambling Appeals Tribunal (L.N. 115);
  • the Gambling Regulatory Authority's own pages, including its list of licensed gaming companies;
  • Kenya Law for the text of Acts, the Kenya Revenue Authority for tax, the Central Bank of Kenya for payments, and the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner and the Data Protection Act, 2019 for privacy;
  • game providers' own pages for game facts such as RTP, for example Spribe's page for Aviator;
  • Google's and Apple's published app-store policies for what those stores allow.

Arithmetic is the one addition: a probability or an expected value may be worked out on the page, provided every step is shown and the passage is labelled "Illustrative example". Forums, social media, video channels, news reports, other gambling sites and review or affiliate sites are not used as sources, even when what they say is right.

What is never published

Rankings, ratings, scores and "best" lists. Bonus amounts, free-bet offers and promo codes. Links to operators. Testimonials and winner stories. Predictions, signals or patterns said to reveal the next round. Any suggestion that gambling can be a source of income. Any claim that someone at this site played, deposited or tried a product, because no first-hand testing of that kind is done.

How a page is prepared and checked

Each guide starts from a question a reader in Kenya might ask, such as whether 2x is a sensible target or whether an app can see the next round. The draft is written with the sources open, and every figure is tied to an entry in the site's facts register, which keeps the exact wording, the section or page it comes from and the date it was read.

Before publication a script checks the page for: a source list with addresses and access dates, with no source from a list of excluded domains; the 18+ notice and a link to the help page; promotional or promissory wording, such as calls to bet or claims of certain wins; links to operators; text duplicated from other pages; dashes and placeholders; and the length of the title and description. A page is published only when the check reports zero defects. A failing page is fixed and checked again, never published with a warning attached.

No named human reviewer checks pages at present. When a reviewer is appointed, their name and role will be added to this section and to the byline on each guide.

Dates

Every page shows the date it was last updated. A page is re-dated when its content changes, not when it is simply rebuilt. Facts carry the date they were read from their source; the facts used at launch were read on 28 October 2026.

Independence

The site has no income and no commercial tie to any operator, game provider or payment company, as how we make money sets out. No operator or provider sees a page before it is published, and none can pay for a change to one.

Mistakes

An error is corrected on the page and logged on the corrections page with the date and what changed. When a correction alters the meaning of a page, such as a wrong section number or a wrong probability, a short note on the page itself says so.

Readers under eighteen

Nothing here is aimed at anyone under eighteen. The 2026 Advertising Regulations forbid gambling adverts with content that appeals to minors (L.N. 114 r.9(d)), and this site holds its own pages to the same rule even though it carries no adverts.
